"With your support, this event attracted over 150 guests and raised the awareness of volunteerism and the impact our services have on needy individuals and families in the local community. Our mission is to promote, support, and sustain home ownership and improve financial literacy among the under served, low-to-moderate income and veteran communities in Prince William County and the Washington DC Metropolitan area. As a community based, HUD approved nonprofit housing counseling agency, First Home Alliance touched the lives of over 750 families in the last year and more than 8,000 households, since inception in 2002. The generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for First Home Alliance to exist and to help make this community a great place to live. Thank you again for your support."

"I had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer packing and distributing household items to people who were in need of assistance. The items distributed were of high quality and would be a great contribution to any household. I'm proud to be a part of this program."

"It is an honorable thing to love someone you know. But it is both honorable and powerful to be an authentic expression of love to those you've not met. With sponsoring the Beautiful You Community-wide Baby Shower, Women of Good Works is bringing hope to less-privileged women in Cameroon who would otherwise go unnoticed."
